Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
MetroWest Healthcare Alliance (“MWHCA”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access our website, services, and resources regardless of technology or ability.

We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which serve as the recognized standard for digital accessibility and support compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other applicable federal and state accessibility requirements.

Accessibility improvements and ongoing evaluations are part of our continuing efforts to provide an inclusive online experience for all visitors.

Accessibility Measures
To support accessibility, MWHCA currently incorporates the following measures on this website:
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation
  • Logical heading structure and semantic page markup
  • Screen reader–friendly content structure
  • Mobile-responsive design
  • Clickable phone numbers and email links
  • Alternative text for key informational images
  • Ongoing accessibility reviews and remediation efforts as content is updated

We also utilize a combination of manual review and automated accessibility testing tools as part of our ongoing website maintenance process.

Ongoing Improvements and Known Limitations
While we strive to make all pages and content fully accessible, some areas of the website may not yet achieve full accessibility conformance. Certain legacy content, third-party integrations, or recently updated materials may require additional remediation.
Examples of areas currently under review may include:
  • Alternative text for certain images
  • Form field labeling improvements
  • Color contrast verification
  • Accessibility enhancements for third-party embedded content or social media integrations

MWHCA is actively working to identify and address accessibility barriers as promptly as possible and will continue ongoing testing and improvements.

Third-Party Content
Some portions of this website may include content or services provided by third parties. While we encourage vendors and partners to provide accessible content consistent with WCAG standards, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party platforms outside of our direct control.

If you encounter accessibility issues related to third-party content, please contact us so we can assist you or provide information in an alternative format where possible.
